Minor Football League Sports Development  Internship Program

The MFL seeks diverse candidates to join its hands-on virtual league internship program. Interns have the chance to work with the league headquarters, its 32 franchises and the MFL Foundation. The current internship cycle for the 2024 MFL season runs from January - August. Internships can be completed for academic credit at accredited colleges and universities. 

The league welcomes interns into the following departments in Spring/Summer 2024: Video Production, Graphic Design, Administrative, Football Operations, Public Relations, Marketing/Communications, Editorial, Sales, Sports Medicine, Guest Experiences/Client Services and Community Relations.  

Meet the 2024 MFL Internship Class

The MFL is proud to work with this exceptional internship class duing the 2024 season. 

Interns will assist in all aspects of daily league operations. 

Jihad Miller 

Business Development Intern

Jihad Miller is a Florida A&M alumnus with a Bachelors's and Masters's degree in Business Administration. He was most recently employed with the Baltimore Ravens as a Stadium Experience Intern and Guest Experience Ambassador. He is beyond excited to start his new journey with the MFL family.


Caria Reynolds

Video Production & Digital Intern 

Caria Reynolds is from Stone Mountain, GA. She is a former student-athlete who currently serves as an intern in the communications department, focusing on digital media. Her  academic journey includes earning a BA in Mass Media from Hofstra University in 2022 and a Master of Organizational Leadership from Anderson University in 2023. During her tenure at Hofstra University, she contributed to WRHU, Hofstra's University Radio and TV Media Department. She has received multiple accolades, including the NAACP Female Student Athlete of the Year award in 2019 and 2022. Looking ahead, she aspires to become a television or radio host, leveraging her background and experiences to engage and inspire a broader audience.


Joseph Walls

Football Operations & Communications Intern

Joseph Walls is a recent graduate of Seton Hall University with a degree in Visual and Sound Media. He graduated in May of 2023 and had previous experience as the technical operations director at WSOU FM in South Orange New Jersey, along with working as a DJ and sports analyst and journalist with the station for three of his four year of college. He looks forward to continuing the outreach and helping the MFL brand grow during the 2024 season.


Travis Wilson

Football Operations Intern 

Travis Wilson is a 22-year-old college student from Landover, Maryland who currently attends Bowie State University. Since he was a small child, he has liked and participated in sports and he is excited to receive an internship in his passion. With a background in sports management, event planning, and marketing he is thrilled to be a part of the MFL family and looks forward to making a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in the industry.


Elias Arianas

Football Operations Intern

Elias Arianas is a third year at Florida International University studying Sports Management. For him, "This internship program means the opening to the doors of opportunity to this dream of mine. Being given this gift of working alongside those I’ve looked up to for so long makes this feel like more than just an internship.  I look forward to doing my part in helping this organization grow to the best it can be." 


Aydee Rosas

Graphic Design & Marketing Intern

Aydee Rosas resides in Grinnell, Iowa. She graduated from Southern New Hampshire University.  She holds a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Media Arts. She has expertise working with print & digital layout, color theory, and computer graphics.


Daniel Nzanga

Graphic Design & Marketing Intern

Daniel Nzanga's graphic design journey has primarily revolved around freelance work, during which he's had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed organizations such as the Seattle Seawolves, Ford Sports Performance, Seattle University, and GLS Speed. He is a graphic designer with a passion for sports.


Alexa Quintas

Marketing & Communications Intern 

Alexa Quintas, a proud Illinois native and devoted Chicago sports fan, is currently pursuing a degree in Sport Marketing and Management at Indiana University Bloomington. She is minoring in Business and Informatics and expects to graduate in May 2025. Beyond her academic pursuits, Alexa gained valuable hands-on experience as a Collegiate Summer Intern and Marketing Lead for Game Day USA last summer. With dreams of a career in the sports industry, she hopes to use her knowledge and passion to make a positive impact. Alexa is thrilled at the opportunity to join the MFL family and contribute to its growth and success.


Clea “Trae” McCaa III

Public Relations & Football Operations Intern

Clea Mccaa III is a junior at Arizona State University working towards a bachelors degree in sports business. Since he was a kid he fostered a love for sports as he's been played football all his life. He is super excited for the opportunity.
